Alan Carr: Funniest Comedian Around?

I know he's as camp as a boy scout's toggle, but doesn't he knock spots off the likes of Michael McIntyre, the unfunniest guy ever to get a TV series?

He's pretty funny in standup but fronting a TV show I think he's as dull as dishwater!

But there are tons of brilliant standups who made lousy TV - Jasper Carrott to start with

I thought Jasper Carrott's TV shows were pretty good.

I cannot stand Alan Carr. Every time I hear his stupid voice or see his smug smiling face I want to slap him. I've only seen Michael Mcintyre in small doses but I like what I've seen so far.

And I agree that Frankie Boyle on Mock the Week is funnier than all the above. Unlike the blonde bloke, whose name escapes me for the moment, who thinks he's hilarious but isn't.

Perhaps it's a generational thing. I still miss Kenny Everett!

Well I haven't seen Mcinrtyre's show but he rescued Top gear for me last night and his standup is pretty good. I like Alan Carr's stand up but he's not outstanding, no better than Jack Dee, Jimmy Carr, Rich Hall, Even that Iranian bloke who I can't pronounce is pretty funny.

Well it was just a dull episode, apart from raosting each other in a game of car sauna, not much doing. MM made me LOL with his driving a heap in the fast lane routine.

i wouldn't say he's as funny as sean lock, omad jalili or bill bailey. but I agree about macyntyre - about as funny as funeral!
