Avoiding LCD screen burn using ITV Player
0 Answers
Connecting my laptop to my LCD TV allows me to watch missed programmes. When using ITV Player, I am unable to get rid of the white elapsed time bar at the bottom of the screen. As LCD TV manuals warn about permanent screen burn when viewing a static image for along time (how long is that then?), I am concerned that I will damage my screen.
Using BBC I-Player, I can get rid of all the screen clutter when running in full-screen mode, but ITV appears to retain the time bar in full screen mode. There is a pin control which I thought would allow you to turn off the time bar, but as yet I haven't discovered how.
Any ABr's got any suggestions please?
TIA
