A job interview.
I have just come back from attending a job interview (with 4 interviewers no less aaaahhhh) for a job that sometimes involves taking blood from horses in order to research horse DNA viruses etc. The job revolves around tackling horse flu and is at a leading company but is mostly based in the lab. I would be a junior lab technician and i really want the job!! The problem is that one of the interviewers asked if i was horsey and in a roundabout way i sort of said not really! o you think Ive thrown any prospects of getting this job out of the window?

For the job, I imagine they would just need someone who is comfortable around horses. Horses can be highly strung and often need gentle, calm handling. In the interview, they should have been more clear about what they were asking! If in the worst case scenario they don't offer you the job, I would ask them why you weren't offered it. Good luck though, and the fact that you really want the job, hopefully that showed in the interview. Hope you get it :o)
Anyway, I think the question was guided more towards finding out if you are too into horses rather than not enough.
