Saw the omnibus show 2day and want to know if there was any particukar reason why Dreary Barlow wanted a letter from LIz MaccyD showing what I presume is the pubs address - "Ohh a bill!". said Dreary

It was when Becky heard Liz slagging her off- again just before she ran all the way to the bus station.

Just curious and wondered if it had any relevance

I missed that bit puternut but she has just lost her job in the council so maybe a reference although I don't know why you would want one from liz mcdonald !

It was an unopened envelope. I can only assume it was a bill delivered to the pub by mistake, it should have gone to the Barlows.

I thought it was a letter that had been delivered by mistake, no reason for it other than to give Dreary an excuse to be there so Becky could overhear Liz talking about her. I did love the comment made by Dreary when Blanche was doing her Gypsy Rose Hunt bit, and Blanche said people told her her mother was a witch, Dreary said people had been telling her that too!
