Personally, I'm gutted to read this (I actually found out through Facebook and had to turn to t'internet to confirm the sad news). He IS M.T.W. and I don't think the show (Which has been re-commissioned for another two series) will be the same. I do hope, however, that the likes of Stewart Francis and Milton Jones get more airtime.

Bye bye Frankie, you'll be sorely missed.

Very surprised to see this - I knew he was absent last week? and Darah said it was down to ill health. Not sure why he would be leaving the show - gives him a lot of exposure and publicity. It is a shame - good show, and frankies outrageous humour is very much part of its success.

This week, you should have received the decoding ring that allows you to read the messages on your membership card and badge. If you've not yet received the ring, it must be stuck in the post or we forgot to send it or something. Anyway, both messages read "I am a c**t".

Dont get type cast, I am sure he has plenty of other projects on the go.

Maybe he is going to replace Fiona Bruce on Antiques Roadshow.

Have to say he is excellent on MTW, although how he gets away with some if his "below the belt" comments I dont know
