Who is that actress who has been in the last 3 episodes with cancer and is now friends with Trisha? She is so familiar - I keep thinking she was in Eastenders but can't think who she played! Is driving me mad!

Samantha Beckinsale - she was in London's Burning in the early on series.  (She is also the daughter of Richard Beckinsale who you may remember from "Porridge" with Ronnie Barker...)

She was also in a comedy series with Brian connelly  (about 10 years ago) -anyone remember this, she was a probation officer, he was a lovable rogue, and they fell for each other, can't remember the name of it....????
