In the scene with the music producers, who is the actress in the scene I have seen her before somewhere, and it is really bugging me as to where.

Do you mean the secretary type role as played by Gemma Arterton ('Quantum of Solace', 'St Trinian's', etc.)?

It might be her, I'm not sure she was not in it for very long.

Did she play the lead in Trinians? Or a sub character? If the later that's probably why I only "recognise her slightly"
