Um...If you judge your dietary intake on the basis of sitcoms it could be argued you get what you deserve. OK when pregnant you shoud be careful what you eat. Shellfish, raw cheese, raw meat, pate, all these can present health risks. But so does salad, particularly in restaurants. And hamburgers. and icecream. And pretty much everything. Its all about making informed choices on the basis of good data. ie not what Rachel does on Friends.
Incidentally the japanese manage to breed pretty succesfully on a diet extremely rich in fish, crustaceans and molluscs, raw and cooked. Just an observation, not a recommendation.
