on the itv anglia news the otherday was a story about a redundant paperboy, my friend earned £2.25 an hour for about six to eight hours a week, and was made redundant. If these people on such small amounts of money are being layed off, what chance have proper workers earning thousands of pounds got, already lots of people have been made redundant.

its probably not to save the money paid, but rather the need for a paper boy has ceased to be.

Sorry, I rolled around the floor laughing when I first read this. A redundant paperboy indeed....
the ages of getting things delivered ie papers and milk etc is dying. I am a newsagent 6 years ago i had 58 newpaper delivery people and now i have 10.
