I have lost so much respect for Simon Cowell tonight - that was absolutely pathetic. He has slagged the twins off for weeks, but has realised that they have got so much press attention they are worth their weight in gold. Total rubbish. He has made himself look really stupid.

I agree with whitebear. He's just eliminated a very real threat to His acts in the form of Lucy. He should give The Weakest Link a try.
If they were true judges then they should judge and not continue this farce. I know it's just a TV show, but I feel really cheesed off by the whole thing. The viewers have been manipulated and sold down the river by Simon Cowell.

Think it through - this tv prog and most others are there for one reason only, to raise money. Whether it's tv ads, phone lines, record sales or whatever. Do you honestly think anyone does it for the good of culture or humanity? Don't be daft - if you believe that you're kidding yourself. TV programmes are a delivery vehicle for advertising; that's what commercial tv is designed to be.
You could see it dawn on Simon on saturday that these two are potential money makers - think kids tv, record sales, merchandising - how big would they be in Japan? They arrived as a ready made money printer.
Also - Ant & Dec released chart toppers and neither of them could sing; Let's Get Ready To Rumble anyone? They've just signed a £20million contract. Simon will want the twins on his books for as long as the public is interested.
