"Tony walks away and leaves Roy to flounder and actually drown because he goes right to the bottom. He watches Roy disappear from the bridge. He goes very calm and walks away. To Tony, it's the end of his problems."
Well it says Roy actually drowns but I haven't read anywhere that his character is being written out.

Synopsis of past few episodes
Tony had a heart attack and was taken to hospital with Roy - who found him. - On his apparent death bed he admitted to Roy that he killed Liam Conner (12 months ago) - Roy is now being very righteous about it and has been struggling with his consience. Tony has now practically fully recovered as you do in about 3 days.
He claims it was not a 'true' confession as he was drugged up. However he has threatened both Roy and HAyley that if they tell police he will kill them
