Duplicate Files

Over the years I have been really good and backed up everything.
The problem is probably too good, and have back ups everywhere on different hard drives, so I'm looking for a good program to find and delete same files, music photo's etc, one which is easy and I can trust not to detete something by mistake, any ideas, and free would be good!

I had a similar problem recently and downloaded the following : "FIRM TOOLS DUPLICATE PHOTO FINDER, V.1.1.0.148" - this worked brilliantly. I realise it says it's a photo finder, but it might be worth having a look. Otherwise Google for some Duplicate File finder freeware.

It never hurts to have multiple backups on multiple hard drives or CDs/DVDs.

Having only one backup on one hard drive is just SO risky it does not ever bear thinking about.

Feel yourself lucky you have multiple backups, then whatever goes wrong you should be covered.
