Have you noticed (especially on BBC1 and ITV) what I call "Creeping Repeat Syndrome"?
A repeat used top mean a chance to re~watch a programme that had (usually) previously been shown 6months to a couple of years (or more ago),and with some programmes was a genuine pleasure to re~watch them.
BBC 1 and ITV have now changed the goalposts.
They are now repeating programmes sometimes on the next day,or up to 4 days after.
Considering that there are facilities (BBC iplayer etc) to do this, and that many people still have video recorders, this can only be an excuse to save money?
If the repeats were late at night I might be more sympathetic, but they are usually at peak viewing hours.
The repeat of Ant & Dec the day after it was on originally takes the biscuit.I mean it was cr@p the first time!
Any thoughts?

yes, I posted this complaint two days ago...

No, I didn't, but have noticed it. Mind you if it's on a different channel (itv1 first then 2) I don't see that as too bad.

I like it Postdog,I like it(oh dear that was a repeat too!)LOL
I agree if it's on another channel, that's fine;or late at night, but these(like the Ant & Dec) are on at peak viewing time.
I think the problem is TV is expensive. Nobody wants to pay lots more for the licence fee and ITV are having trouble covering costs with advertising revenue. So what are the options? I still think UK TV quality is right up there (you should see Italian TV!). So I would rather suffer repeats than have lower quality TV or even worse ITV going out of business. It is a difficult balancing act but I think they have it about right.
