As an ex Serviceman I will NEVER forgive him for printing the fake pics of soldier's allegedly urinating on what appeared to be an Iraqi detainee in the back of a truck. For a supposed 'investiagtive journalist' he succumbed too easily into being hoodwinked and failed dismally to check even basic facts.
His 'holier than thou' attitude coupled with the zeal with which he pilloried the Armed Forces beggared belief. I dread to think how much anti-British fever he helped to whip up in foreign climes, resulting in injury to Servicemen and women. It was even more ironic that such said Armed Forces preserve the very democracy that allowed him to spew his bile in their direction, only to be left looking like a circus clown.
To parody a Blackadder line, be a shame if he met with a freak yachting accident.
