Paradox TV series Final Episode

I recorded the 5 episodes on Video plus and watched them all last night. Towards the end of the last episode there was a siege at the school, the young boys was about to start shooting then my recording ended could someone please tell me what happened next.

The Paradox team try to talk the boy out of shooting. I seem to think the female member of the team (sorry, can't remember their names) is held hostage. Armed police burst into the classroom much to the annoyance of the paradox team. Ultimately the boy fires the gun as the team try to arrest the weapon from him. The gun goes off and it is the young guy who receives the transmissions at Paradox who is shot dead.

i thought she tried to wrestle it out of the boys hand and she shot the bolke?
At the very end a voice transmission was recieved while no-one was there - her voice saying "help me"
