I tuned into the South Bank show awards last night (10.25pm) just in time to catch the end of a woman singing. Can anyone please tell me who it was?

I didn't see it, but was it Florence and the Machine? I think she won an award.

Might it be Sierra Boggess singing "Love Never Dies" because that was being premiered according to Radio Times http://www.radiotimes..._details_fullpage.jsp

Thank you both for your help - it was indeed "Love never dies" by Sierra Boggess.
What a lovely voice and I will buy the track as soon as it becomes available.
