Not getting on with sister
17 Answers
I recently attended my sister's wedding where she completely ignored everything my husband said to her. For example, he'd pay her a compliment and she completely blanked him! My husband had mentioned it previously but I put it down to paranoia but several times in the one evening she was really rude. It didnt just end with him though, she attempted to pull down the front of my dress in (what I can only assume a jovial way) because I had cleavage. Fortunately I caught it in time to save flashing everyone!! Why is she being like this? My husband and I cannot figure out what her problem is and when raised the next morning she denied all knowledge and apologised IF she had done anything wrong. My family all think it's me and my husband being paranoid and causing trouble but it is her and no one else sees it because she is being so crafty! Now my husband doesnt want to attend anymore family events! What is her problem?!

She also pulled me on to the dance floor and I brought him with me only for her to gesture 'go away' when he turned his back. My brother saw it too and pulled a face. Just aswell her honeymoon is 3 weeks I think the break will do us good!
Thank you for your comments. I know there is nothing going on - we live miles and miles apart for one! There have been comments made in the past by her though so possibly a jealousy thing I dont know. Yes I intend to speak to her when back - I didnt want to ruin the day so said nothing. Will see what her response is....
Maybe she just doesn't like your husband. Not everyone likes everyone else, and just because you love him doesn't automatically mean she has to like him. Add to that having a few drinks at her wedding and maybe she wasn't as subtle as she could have been. I wouldn't worry too much about it - that's families for you, and if you only see each other once in a while I'm sure you can all make the effort to be civil.
