Oh dear - if I answer your q poodi I may make myself (more?) unpopular!
Chacun a son gout. Put it this way I always avoid the repeats :-)

Understand moucha not all their work was that funny but some just tickled me
I liked them, but I prefer the two Ronnies
I am racking my brains to think of other comedy duos that actually make me laugh! Help!
I think they were excellent in their time, but in order to find the repeats funny you have to out your 1980s etc head on again. It's a bit like Thunderbirds, or Blake's Seven - never missed an episode, but now.I look at them with a different eye!
PS It look me a very long time to get the hang of Monty Python, and I still know many people (many a lot younger than me!) who can recite verbatim the script of the Life of Brian. ?Der...?
I always prefered good old stand-up comics/comedians or a decent sit com such as the Good Life. Plus good comedy actors - loved Dick Emery. But as I said it is all a matter of personal taste.
I don't think Morecambe lived in this century at all, so no. I'll go for the Conchords.
Personally I prefer the Two Ronnies.

Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett for me any day
I like Ronnie Barker but can't stand Ronnie Corbett. Some of their stuff was quite funny though.
Brown and Cameron
Laurel & Hardy for me. I could watch their films over and over.
