musical idea

this sounds a bit mental - i know!

I have got an idea for a musical. It's already a book and film (old), but every time i watch it, I can see tons of options where a good song and dance would really fit in.

Thinking of how Mamma Mia was the idea of ordinary folks like me, who would I approach?

Also, it's not really my idea -as such- as it's someone else's story.

BTW years ago, i wrote to cadbury, suggesting they make a chocolate bar filled with cream egg filling. They wrote back and said that it wouldn't be cost effective and it wouldn't sell. They had no plans to make one in the future1

Two ears later - I was a bit cross to see them on the shelves!

When I told my husband about the musical idea, he rolled his eyes and said, 'ere we go! :)

crisgal- re cadburys; my brother wrote to Walkers about the time they released Cheese and Owen crisps (to go with Salt and Lineker) suggesting "Smokey Beckham" flavour, they wrote back explaining that they had "a team of people to come up with marketing ideas so they do not take suggestions from the public" (or something along those lines) and they were actually going to try the Smokey Beckham thing but David Beckham wouldn't agree to it.
