I watched it last night.The government keep very quiet about the number of appalling casualties happening daily.Families receiving their loved ones back ruined beyond belief.As a crew member said the repatriation at Wootten Basset is highly commendable,but the poor maimed loved ones that are returned alive but ruined is just as sad and awful. Young men with just a torso and head were mentioned and dreadful facial injuries etc.we seldom hear much about that.sending our troops out there with insufficient back up is a disgrace. Bless all our brave service people.Please if you can support" Help For Heroes" it will help as the injured do not get enough support from the government.

Very sad, as you say patsyann, we never really think about the wounded. Help for Heroes is a brilliant charity
