Does anyone remember the TV programme Casey Jones? just wondering why Sky tv don't show it when they show so much rubbish, or even White Horses. Interested to hear any replies

I remember both of these series. As I understand it, there are no episodes of white horses in existence that are dubbed into the English language. I believe that the original was either Hungarian or Czech. Casey Jones was played by Alan Hale Jr. I recently found out that there was a real Casey Jones, plenty under Google about him. I used to watch Ali Bongo's magic circus followed by Casey Jones on a Saturday afternoon. Ahhh memories!!!

They're probably not shown on Sky because, although they seem wonderful in our memories, by today's standards I would imagine that they are painfully slow and amateurish.

 

I recently saw some $6M Man episodes, a show I always remembered as action-packed, and they were fairly dull!
