Please Can You ID Background Music

I have been after this for about 12 years, I have managed to get a sample of it from a programme, please ignore the talking and listen to the music in the background. It's been used for numerous TV programmes on lots of channels over the years including Nightscreen. Still desperate to know what the song is, who it's by and where to get it from since I doubt it's available from ITunes, Napster etc. Thanks.

it would appear that the link you've posted is to a completely silent track.

It's just really quiet, I had to turn my speakers up full to hear it, had trouble recording it.

My speakers are excellent and even at full belt all I heard was three seperate disjointed notes and a scream part way through. You really need a better sample.
