Want to play my bought dvd's on my i pod touch and mp3 player. from pc to i pod

Hi can anyone help me out please does anyone no how i can copy my dvd film wich is bought from shop and copy that to my pc so it gets rid of the blocking part of the disc so that i can then load it onto my i pod touch and mp3 player etc etc....i have the software to load it from pc to i pod just need something to get the film onto my pc so that when i then put it on i pod it doesnt say i cant do it due to the block thing they put on them......I no i can use say dvd x copy to just copy from original to blank dvd just no idea how to do it to i pod....Any help will be great and if there any free download software that be even better but any help is good...Many thanks in advance for your help.much apreciate it...

you can get a free trial of this one. My Dh used it legally.....make sure that waht you do with it is legal :-)
