Sniper takes out 5 Taliban fighters from over a mile away, pretty impressive stuff.

But why this soldier, who has killed 37 Taliban during a 4 months tour of duty, must remain anonymous and yet a fellow sniper, was identified as Corporal of Horse Craig Harrison of the Household Cavalry who broke all military records by killing two Taliban machine gunners with consecutive bullets from more than a mile and a half away, even though they were 1,070 yards beyond the official range of his rifle?

Pehaps he has a sensitive role we dont know about.

Oddly enough the military dont tell the public everything.
The anti British will be along soon to point out that he missed with some of the shots!

Or perhaps we are not fighting fair with these new rifles, when the Taliban have only out dated Ex Russian weapons.

Like you'd know!!!

Ex national service pencil pusher! Pontificating from your armchair in Geriatricshire.

If you're so curious, why don't you ask the MOD for his name?

Or do you think the military who do actually know what they're doing will rightly dismiss you as a silly little old f@rt?
At a guess I would say that the anonymous sniper is special services and as a rule they don't want to be identified.

CoH Harrison is a regular soldier.
Sorry I mean its all a lefty plot to enrage right wingers so much that they have heart attacks

Modern Warfare 2?
This must be a better method of killing the enemy. Unfortuantely we seem to be losing soldiers on foot patrols and IEDs searching out the enemy. Why don't we sit back and wait for the enemy to approach us rather than walking through minefields.

Reason being rov, we must be seen strolling through the villages capturing hearts and minds.
Killing Taliban fighters, and suffering casualties ourselves, won't solve the problems in Afghanistan.
Eventually we'll sit round the table with their leaders and find an answer that way.

AOG,

If we kill all Afghan children (and pregnant women) we come across, we're cutting off the supply of the next generation Taliban soldier. It makes perfect tactical sense. Any idea why we're not doing that?
