Liz Jones You Magazine
23 Answers
I felt so sad when i read about what happened to Liz Jones' dog Michael , in You magazine today. Did anyone else read it ? I felt really sorry for her, probably having to bury the dog on her own, she seems to be having lots of problems at the moment.

She seems to have brought a lot on herself, and there are many people in the Uk worse of then she is, and dont have a voice - shes able to air her woes every Sunday - namedropping famous brands like its going out of fashion. i would have thought being a main columnist for the Mail papers would have a nice salary attached?
Yes shes been treated badly by others in the past, but im sure shes no angel

I find it hard to be sympathetic to someone who recently ridiculed a staff member in a budget hotel for not knowing what Prosecco is, or who looks down on anyone who has never read Martin Amis.. And the way she always qualifies everything with a "self righteous" adjective, eg the organic pub, the rescued hens, the abandoned racehorse, is a rather nasty and supercilious way emphasising her "moral superiority".
I feel compelled to read this every week and it was really tragic about the dog.
However like other ABers above I have little sympathy with her financial situation as she is very self righteous and seems to judge people by what make their shoes are, etc. Very snobby and so superficial. Lots have people have sent her money
too!

The dog isn't dead.

If it wasn't, she wouldn't have to bury it on her own. She doesn't actually live on her own as she claims - it's one of the many lies she's told, as you can see if you read the whole of the thread I linked to. There's a broadsheet sunday magazine interview with her in which some of her lies are exposed. I can't remember which newspaper it was. It might be linked to in that thread if it's online.

Yep, the only reason she's there is to wind people up.
I had the misfortune to read one of her articles a while back and that was enough for me.
Liz was 'pretending' to live on benefits for a whole week to see what it was like. In that time she spent £260 and continued to swan around in her Merc (as the bus was clearly beneath her). This article was accompanied with pictures of her sitting in rags next to her inglenook fireplace, holding out her hands containing a few pence in loose change as though begging.
Disgusting, what a p*ss take to everyone that had lost their jobs in the recession.
Liz Jones?

Liz Jones?
Well have been reading this column too, then I began to think this woman who is supposed to have no money in her purse suddenly ups and goes off on a Ski ing holiday leaving all the animals to fend for themselves. I thought this woman has to be writing a novel a work of fiction and guess what I found.
