Split with his wife, what a shame. But is he gay, as I read somewhere, or having an affair with another woman ? And why do they all do it, when they get a lovely spouse, gorgeous kids, no money worries, they have to mess around ?

No one really knows what goes on in anyone's marriage - just because they seem to have it all from the outside doesn't mean everything was rosy. He might just be a pig or his wife might be horrible or they might have any number of problems not concerning money - only they know.
