It seems that the AB layout has changed, for though I can type in my question title, I can't now find where to type my question...other than this way which was to type the title and go back to 'my profile' hit the title link and post this answer...anyone know where the actual question 'field' is? Ta Muchly.
Once you start typing your question, a large box opens up with "details". You should type your question in there.

Yes, Squarebear, that's what I used to do...only the other day or so i.e. type my title then tab round to details and then type in my question...but it's the details 'field' that seems to be missing or at least is elsewhere on AB, but Thanks anyway and I'll just have to tab and back tab or whatever to find it!
Don't you see a box like this when you click in the title bar?

Maybe you could type in the header, submit, and then Post Answer with your question !
Anyway, woodelf, what was the question ?
The problem raised by woodelf doesn't happen for me- as soon as I start to type in the title box the Question Details box appears.
However there are so many posters now that cram a long question in the title box and put nothing in the Question Details box that I wonder if the problem faced by woodelf is also faced by other posters- maybe users of certain browsers or hand held devices.
The inappropriate positioning of the Submit button is also a factor, as is the fact that once you press Enter in the Title box the question is submitted, but these don't seem to be the cause of the problem woodelf has identified.

I see nowt at all Square and Factor, but as Smurf asks the question was...and I wonder why at all, but here goes.

I don't know if it's been done on AB before, but using the theme of Desert Island Discs, which would be ABers eight favourite discs...assuming we could plug into the mysterious grid or an infinite supply of batteries...and your favourite book and a luxury item? No breach of copyright AB Editor, just having fun is all. Ta Muchly.
