I'm looking fro the name of this movie that was shown last year on BBC2

There was a film shown on BBC2 last year.It's a comedy film.This guy is going to tell his boss that he is sick & tired of the way he is treated but when he gets there his boss has been killed.He goes on the run because people may think it was him that killed his boss (can't remember why).He has a hitman chasing him & he meets up with this girl who sometimes passes out.I think at the end they are on some sort of Crazy Golf course.It was one of these movies that i had wished i had taped at the time.It was very daft & funny.Can anyone help me please?

Gerry, this sounds like a movie called "Something Wild" starring Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffiths. It was directed by Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs) and was one of a number of "yuppy in peril" films that were about at that time - 1986.

But I might be wrong!!

Pretty sure it was "The Wrong Guy" with Dave Foley & Jennifer Tilly. It was shown on 17/7.

It was one of those movies I did tape and wished I hadn't!

I just checked and I only have the last 3 minutes or so. Amazingly, I must still have had it up to about a week ago when I taped over it with 'Ned Kelly' off sky.
