There was a sci-fi programme on in the 80's about a time traveller and I think his name was the same as a make of Gin! I also remember a theme in the prog that said that when we see u.f.o.'s today it isn't aliens it's people from the future coming back to have a look Anythoughts and or help out there? Thanks in advance.

You're thinking of the one-off drama "The Flipside of Dominic Hyde" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082390/ ), Dominic was asked his name whilst in a pub, and chose one (Gilbey?) from a gin bottle. There was a sequel called "Another Flip for Dominic" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083566/ ). I believe both are due on DVD in April.
