million dollar baby....clint's first chick movie???

Found this movie derivative....kept thinking Flashdance and Shawshank Redemption and with the"dirtiest fighter around" in the last bout Starwars the Phantom Menace..."guy with the red face and the light thingy" to me it was a tv movie propped up by three main actors...... really dont think it is in the running for an oscar....your thoughts.....

Well Clint has been nominated in the best actor category. I haven't seen it myself (yet) but in another review I read that in the last 15 mins of the film Clint, Morgan and Hilary give the best acting performance of their respective careers to-date.

Note also that the music for the film is also written by Clint.......a very versatile individual let's face it!
