Long time before the title sequence

I recently saw a movie - released in the past year or so - that had an incredibly long pre-title sequence. It was about 11 mins before the titles hit the screen.

I can't for the life of me recall what the film was. Any ideas?

could be  a film called narc with ray liotta and jason patric as cops lookin for a cop killer
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?  Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, about a couple who erase their memories of each other when they break up.  Also has Kirstin Dunst and Elijah Wood in it as well.
Yeah, I was thinking of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind too.  Damn good film as well!
Leaving Las Vegas has a pretty long pre-title sequence, though it probably seems longer than it is because there's so much crammed into it.  PS:  I saw Apocalypse Now in London when it first came out, and there were no titles at all, though they gave you a booklet with the full credits as you went in.
