Elvis has a lot to answer for...
28 Answers
It was the old man's birthday wednesday (as well as doc...). My to-be-one-day-probably-ex-husband. 53. Fat b@stard (my pet name for him). In remembrance & melancholy & masochism I played Elvis' Love Album on the car cd all week (daft mare - should wear waterproof mascara) - & realised our whole relationship was Elvis tracks:
'Let it be Me' when he first stalked me outside the family planning clinic & told me about his crush), 'Can't help falling in love'... he played to me on the sofa when he first tried to seduce me in my M&S spotty jimjams. Then 'The Wonder of You', for, well, you know....
'Always on My Mind' was 'our' song which I still cry to today, and then of course 'For the good times' after our break up(s).
What would you say are the Tracks of your Tears (Years) ?

We have some which sound really unromanitc!
'Sweet child of mine' by Guns and Roses, 'Youre my baby' by Ian Dury, and a couple of tracks by the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band! They're for the happy times but sad ones? 'Carry you home' by James Blunt which reminds us of having our beautiful cat put to sleep, and a recent one which I play after a row is 'Blank White Page' by Mumford and Sons. So we have some pretty peculiar ones for our soundtrack!

All shook up- when I saw her on the dancefloor
let me be your teddy bear - when I was seducing her
treat me nice - when we started going out
It's now or never - when I couldn't wait any longer!
Today tomorrow and forever - when we became betrothed
crying in the chapel - when she realised what she'd done
a little less conversation - as the years went by
The wonder of you - when she forgave me for a ( ah- hem) minor indiscretion.
You'll never walk alone - till we part.
