ALAN CARR I am no prude but the lauguage that comes out of his mouth and especially last night was disgusting and even his guests had to copy him .People that think this is funny must use that language continually them selves. And don't say I have an off button as some of his guests can be entertaining.

i prefer Jimmy lol
his stand up is funny though not the sort of thing you want to go to see with your dad (as i did)
His face is enough to put me off Red. He has one of the most unappealing faces I have ever seen!!
His laugh is terrible I must admit. He sounds like a goose farting when he laughs lol.
I've never heard a goose fart!!
Lol me either but i can only imagine that is how it would sound =)
aren´t most bent comedians the same though?
Yeah Piggy, they only have the one joke
I don't know of any 'bent' comedians.

The only gay comedian I can think of is Alan Carr
isn´t g.norton another pillow biter?
Julian Clary too........although they should be done under the trades descriptions act
Also that Lilly Savage creature
They are comedians?

I know Julian Clary is - not funny though!

But Norton? Just a presenter
I would rather sell the TV than watch Alan Carr, why should anyone find a camp comedian funny. If a straight man was pretending there would be an up roar, so why should it be funny for a gay man.So very 1960`s along with jokes about honky's and palefaces
i don;t mind him too much, not a fan, or of graham norton really either. the ubher camp routine as said by andy hughes is a rather large cliche now, i certainly feel its been done to death.

its a bit like the constancy of drag queens at the old vic in eastenders. yawn, zzzzz. its not risque any more, its boring.

Bad language is offensive anywhere - so why do people think comedians are funny if they swear - over the years on TV it has got worse and worse, Jonathan Ross, Jo Brand. Alan Carr to name but a few, what about the chef Gordon Ramsay he is disgusting, I wonder what his family thinks sometimes I wonder if he talks in front of his children like this! Most of these people are good comedians and don't have to resort to using foul language

Midagetrolop and all that agree with me that is exactly what I mean by putting this question .I suppose they think it is funny to swear as they get lots of laughing and applauding for it. Thanks all for your replies and yes I have an on and off button but I always give these so called comedians a chance. There has been lots of superb comedians in the past and they did not need to use foul language to get to the top.
