avatar confusion

Hi Spare. Doesn't feel quite finished yet but it's purdy so far.

Lots of ABers are asking questions about "how to post a picture". Nine times out of ten it turns out they mean how to upload an avatar. I suggest a link in our profiles, leading to your tutorial, cos people are having trouble finding it you know - many users can't even search the site for it as they aren't familiar with the word 'avatar' in the first place.

Good idea Swedeheart. I had no idea what an avata was until quite recent times.
I always thought it ha something to do with Leonardo de Caprio or Amelia Earhart (sp).

It's a pretty good idea that - there was something similar spec'd for this version, but it didn't quite happen in the time constraints. Sorry!

We'll get there guys.

And LL - ta for your kind words, I am collecting them for the tech team at the moment. Often they're so far from the "front line" they only receive bug lists - I think they need to hear these words!
