I've seen it before and my reaction was the same as yours, but later I was told it was a hoax.It was a man made studio film.

Well I hope you were told it was a hoax before you saw it, because there is no way anyone could think it was a fabricated film if they had seen it.

I haven't seen the programme you're talking about, but I've saw the devastation first hand shortly after the event, and I doubt any of it is a hoax. No amount of film coverage could have prepared me for the reality.
