I don't stray into CB very often but I'm just crious as to what happened on AB last night.
When I logged off last night AB was being flooded by numerous posts, some bland, some funny, from a poster who within an hour of joining AB had posted dozens of questions on various sections. I commented that for a newcomer he seemed to to have got the hang of the site very quickly and if he carried on posting at this rate he could become a 'legend' on AB. I remember he also had a post in Arts&Literature about assassins dressed as clowns (Freudian slip?).
The posts I saw weren't offensive but it seemed to me that this person had been here before and I wondered if they were just waiting to catch us unawares and pounce.
When I logged on this morning all trace had gone.
Did things turn nasty? Was the poster's true identity revealed?

Yep it did all seem to get out of hand last night, the poster you are refering to had the old red mist creep up and it got a bit nasty for a while hence my earlier post.
factor do you find this one funny

No. That thread wasn't there when I logged off. I expect this thread will get removed today.
This wasn't the username I was referring to, although I expect that the 'removed answeres' from this thread did come from the poster I was referring to. The poster had name in the form L,,,,AndSomething- can't recall the exact name.
Clearly it got out of hand.
I got the impression the poster in question was setting us all up for something.
Maybe there should be a restriction on the number of times new poster can post (eg max of 5 posts in first 24 hours), although i know this is probably difficult to program and users could get round it.
Factor - There is a 'personality' referred to as *klown* who is banned from this forum.
This does not, however, prevent him from registering many new names and posting plethora of increasingly off-the-wall threads and responses until he gets to fever pitch at which point he disappears in an explosion of frothing and foaming obscenities.

He often has several names on the go at the one time and will appear on threads using each of these names to talk to the other names he has.

The thread sly,Duck has highlighted is from klown and no doubt put up when Lowandbehold and qazzz were bumped off the board.
Klown also manages to be nice in some names for quite a while.
unfortunatly its no surprise to some of us who have seen this klown appear time and time again in yet another guise, he will be back again and it will be almost a repeat of what has happened today depending on how long the Ed lets him post.
'tis gone now. He must have a lot of time on his hands. It wasn't legend, who puts a quarter-acre of space between his sentences. I don't really recall klown but will take jack's identification as correct.

Thanks. So sly, duck was referring to 'klown'. Are you also referring to 'klown'?
So where did LoAndBehold fit into this?
Maybe I shouldn't care!
always makes me curious as to why he just cannot be normal like everyone else, his style of posting is reminicent of a hyperactive child, he must be on something..
I presume LoandBehold was an alias....another one.
Lowandbehold was a username of 'klown'.............as was qazzz.........as was Bigfoot3000.........as is.........well, I have my suspicions :o)
jno anyone can change their style of post to suit particular users, there have been attempts by some of these trolls to imitate wardy, not someone I like at all but I dislike the dishonesty of pretending to be someone else however good or bad they are.
Anyway... moving swiftly on... due fish feel pain?
pretty much my thoughts too jack.. ;)
Only in their fingers.............
Question Author
So 'klown' is not legend?
So LoAndBehold was not legend?
I also recally a Man-On-The-Top-Of-The-Clapham-Omnibus and gravy.
Are they all different people?
factor... do fish feel pain? ;-p
Legend is none of the Klowns.

Kn0bby and Gravy are two different people as well.

Many think it is gravy that is the klown....I don't know though.
Yes they need Snags....do you think vegetables do?
As I understand it, Legend would no longer demean himself by using this site; kn0bby is a regular (if fairly short-term) visitor to this site and gravy gives himself away with his 'obssessions'.

They are all different posters..........
