Around here I can only think of Delia Smith (who shops in our local Tesco) and Ian Lavender (who is often in the station taxi office just after his train from London gets in). The late John Peel is still much missed though.

oh then you must live near ainsdale cos that's where Jean Alexander lived when she used to go into Broardbents when I worked there, and when I fed polo mints to red rum he was near the station in Birkdale! He's buried on Aintree race course now i thinkl.

Ooh loads as in Manchester, work right near Granada Studios as well and see all sorts of people, mainly Corrie though walked passed Michael Ball the other day!

I used to live in the same street as the guy who originally wrote Corrie, the famous one on the credits whose name escapes me for now!

Mike Baldwin too at another flat, used to see him in the pub and on the tram sometimes.

My boss has some in his building where he lives too.

ermm Well in one of the towns near me, is where the members of 'the darkness' are from but that's it I think.

It's less than half an hour from Southwold and tonnes of famous people have holiday homes there.

There are loads of Middlesbrough FC players who live locally. Roy Chubby Brown lives a few miles away. Ian Harte (Ex Leeds United and Republic of Ireland footballer who now plays for Carlisle United) lives locally - I've sold him Football Boots.
