Help with another film...
13 Answers
I remember a film, from when I was quite young. There is a scene where a girl is left with a babysitter whilst her mom and dad go out somewhere. I remember the old lady is sitting watching TV and its quite dark in the room. She looks at somebody and smiles but they then stab her to death. We presume it was the little girl who did this. All i remember is the mom and dad get back and find the girl in the room, but they dont know what she did. Thats all I can remember, but I saw it about 10 years ago. May have just been a TV film, can anybody help?

I remember the film implies that she goes downstairs to where the babysitter is. I have a vague memory of the camera approaching a high-backed chair from behind and then going round to the front. As you say the babysitter, who was in the chair, says 'hello' and gets stabbed. That is as far as I go with it.
I've been thinking that it may have been a Lewis!! There was one where it started with a young couple going out during the 50's I think and their little girl being left with an old lady babysitter who was murdered and it turned out that it was the little girl that did it.
I think It's more likely to be a Midsomer though like knowabit.

Hi Stan-H
I think I(we) have been a bit wrong here and chrissa & knowabit were right.
It seems to be the plot of Misdomer Murders episode entitled 'Judgement Day'

I was sure I had seen it a long time ago pre-MM. Memory is obviously not what it was!
