film title??????????

Hi...I started watching a film years ago but was so tired I didn't finish watching it or see what the title was. Its about this newly wed couple who pick up a woman hitchiker.The hitchiker and the wife start talking about the wedding and the wife says that they are going to her inlaws to meet them for the first time. The wife shows the hitchiker her wedding ring and says the hitchiker can try it on. As she tries it on they have an accident where i think the car goes into water,the wife and husband die and the hitchiker survives. The husbands parents automatically assume that the hitchiker is their sons wife as she is still wearing the ring and take her into their home and say they will look after her and she goes along with it..........Anyone who knows the name of this film would you let me know as its driving me bonkers and i really want to see the rest of it.Thanks
