hello!
im going on a 6 month trip and for the 4th month i will be travelling down the east coast of Oz hoping off and on the greyhound bus. anyone know any sights or popular places to stop off at and see? i know a few but im there for 5 weeks and dont want to be wondering helplessly around a town looking for something to do.

p.s im going on a budget... a very very low budget lol

Port Douglas has lots to do and see; a Quicksilver boat trip to the Great barrier Reef is well worth it, though might not be in your budget. Cairns is a nice town, very nautical but doesn't have a real beach (it's artificial)
There are fantastic beaches around the Central Coast area (Gosford) Avoca and North Avoca beaches as I recall

oh cool. well im flying into caines and leaving from melbourne. ill look up that boat trip and see the price
