Su, I have been racking my brains as to where I've seen him before too!

It might help if we could get a cast listing for the episode - but the programme doesn't get a mention on the ITV website!!  Bring back the good old days of the Radio Times when all cast listings were published!!
Yes I also Googled for info & images for the cast, but nothing came up!
I recognised him too... I could be completeley wrong, but I thought maybe Londons Burning??  Or is that just coz he was playing a fireman??

Funny - London's Burning came to my mind as well - but it could just be thought association
he use to play in coronation street, he was working in the factory for mike baldwin then he had an afair with steves macdonalds wife.
I didn't see this programme, but the guy that Terrij is talking about is Jonathan Wrather and he has been in several things like Cracker check the imdb link http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0942021/#actor2000

Me too - every time his face comes to mind I think of London's Burning.

Thank you Jules - I've just Googled for images & yes it is Jonathan Wrather. He also starred in Doctors.

I can sleep toinght now.

Johnanthan Wrather was the guy who played Joe in Coronation St but he is not the one in the Stepfather.  The voice is different.  I watch Corrie on and off so would have recognised him had it been him

Nope, that's not him :-(  Similar... but the guy on The Stepfather wasn't quite as attractive!

Can't find him.The bloke in "London's Burning" was Andrew Kazamia - and it's not him!

Honest to Jesus - when I looked at the images, I thought he looked similar, but younger & more good looking. I thought perhaps he'd had a face lift.

So it's back to the drawing board - can't wait to find out!

You think that someone would have access to last weeks Radio Times - then we could all be put out of our misery and get on with life!!  Before we know it we'll all be watching next week's drama and there will be someone else we are trying to identify!!!
Trouble is, of course, he's not featured anywhere because he was the 'unexpected' villain of the piece. We all knew it wasn't going to be Glenister or Bathurst so it's OK to give them all the pre-publicity - meanwhile this actor that we're all looking for lurks anonymously at the bottom of the cast-list!
at last i have found him Con O'neill, i have looked everywhere, he has been in a few films also in the musical blood brothers, there are a few photos of him on the net but not many......i was so sure it was the one from coronation street......

Thanks Terri - you can have a prize off the shelf.  I have taken the step of emailing the feedback page of ITV to ask who he was - but I don't expect to hear back for the foreseeable future

We taped over the ending!!!!!!!!  Can anyone tell us what happened in the end???????
