Just watching him now and I seem to remember this episode from way back before even the partridge family, it is probably the first thing we watched him in in the uk, he looks impossibly good looking , he really was.

no a high school basket ball player, i think the swimmer was a marcus welby episode, but it was 40 years ago and so it's a bit hazy lol

Nearly right. Was something 'fit' anyway.

And whaddya mean *was* good looking. I think he still is. That he's still so human and down-to-earth is amazing given the troubles he's had in life.
