is it possible for a 25 yr old to 'finish' puberty...by having a growth spurt...?

can puberty either go very slow, or even pause for a while...and then be kick started at 25...?

and if so would it leave stretch marks around the base of the spine...?

my friends believes her boyfriend may have had this happen...but the mad things is my boyfriend seems to have had a similar thing happen regarding the marks on the spine!...if thats what it is...

she reckons that because of all the sex they have been having its kicked off a growth spurt or something (extra hormones/sperm production etc) and caused these marks...

i can see a sort of logic there...but is it possible?

she also reckons hes got hairier, and a bit taller...and more 'built' - hes still very small though
