Cracker on ITV3

I watched an episode of Cracker 2 weeks ago and enjoyed it only to be told at the end that the next one would be on in a fortnight. Fair enough I thought. Went up to bed last night for 11 o'clock (where my Freeview Box is) and watched it again.
It finished without the story being resolved Again!! No info as to when it's next going to be shown ie next week, in 2 weeks time or next year. Anyone know what's going on? Why split it up like this?

ITV3 and ITV4 programmes seem to be on a loop, so invariably come round again. Just keep an eye on the listing.

Just read this again, and the story continues next week at the same time, part 3 of a 4 part story if I remember. When I first (mis)read it I thought you had missed a bit, but you haven't.

I remember seeing an episode where he was standing on a chair (or was it a loo seat?) smoking out of a top window. It was really funny. I used to love Cracker.
