I saw a film in school based on the king arther story. It started of with king arther's father getting melin to cast a spell over him so he could sneak into a rival's castle while the fighting was going on disguised as that man and sleep with his wife. The couples child, Morgana watchs what happens. The rival king ends up being impaled and the result of this night is the birth of Arther and aslo the resulting ill-feelings between him and his half-sister. If anyone knows the name of this film that'd be great as during the conflict which ends in the impalement there's a song playing as the soundtrack that's often used in that sort of scene that i'd love to try and find what it is.
The film is Excalibur. The name of the music may be Siegfrieds Funeral by Wagner. That piece is used throughout the film. I haven't got a copy ready to hand so I can't be 100 percnt on the music.
