I didn't see the show oscarina, but as a resident of NI I can only agree with the lovely things you say about our wee corner of the world. Things have moved on drastically in the last 10 - 15 years and there are literally only a handful of people who are trying to bring us back to the bad old days. I was born the year the troubles started and worked in hospitals in Belfast during some of the most horrendous times, but the NI of then and now are poles apart. It is (despite the recession) a vibrant multi-cultured society where (for most of us most of the year) we live in harmony. You are correct, our education system is second to none and we have some of the most beautiful scenery the world has to offer - and the people aren't too hard on the eye either! Do you think I should look for a job with the NI touritst board??lol!!
