sick leave

I'm home, sick, for the next 2 days. I need some advice on daytime tv. Come on peeps, what's worth watching? I'm bored and it's not 9am. I have all sky except movies and about a million dvds - suggestions?????

Blighty....lots of interesting stuff with beautifful countryside ....Eden aka the Attenborough channel.....And Dave/Dave ja vu for top gear repeats and a smattering of ray mears....

Don't get involved in watching daytime soaps or Jeremy Kyle type stuff or you will be suicidal within hours. lol

I saw an episode of Kyle last week while I was bedbound. What a load of scum - one guy, pockmarked and surly - threw an envelope at Kyle's head (loved the sound effects....), was churlish, beligerent and downright detestable. He ended up crying backstage.

And the women/girls? Greasy hair, chavvy clothes - they must be encouraged to dress down and look rough, surely no-one would appear on tv the way they do?

My TV goes off when the oh leaves for work, and stays off until he gets home. I prefer to play computer games or surf t'internet to TV.

thanks to you all - will give a try today. Was bloody well out cold all day yesterday after! Just turned on that Kyle guy - where the hell do they find the guests???? Can't be real surely. Right, that's going off.
I think rowanwitcd, daffy and tizzi get the vote. Definitely need a movie or two, maybe some Coast, top gear etc
