Sad News about Simon McCorkindale,

Died today aged 58,loved him in "Casualty".

He was in New Tricks the other week I'm sure he was, was he married to Susan Penhaligan or someone like that?

He had bowel cancer a few years ago which then spread to his lungs. He was married to Susan George I think.

No dotty, he was married to the girl who starred in........ lord I can't remember the name of the film! It also starred Dustin Hofman and was about rape. It was quite ground breaking at the time

He was originally married to Fiona Fullerton, then afterwards to Susan George.

Indeed... rest in peace - I too, liked him in Casualty but though he was a good all round actor and seemed a genuinely nice person. x
