Bullseye Bullys....

On Jim Bowens Bullseye the contestants as you all will know received a 'bendy bully'. These Bendy bullys were sold in the shops for a while apparently. Does anyone know the differences (if any) between the Bullys of the show, and the Bullys in the shops. I have a bully but dont know if theres a way to find out wether it was from the shops or the show.

I would doubt if there's any difference. I watch Bullseye quite often on satellite and in the earlier series the contestants didn't get a bendy Bully, but a set of darts, a tankard and a Bullseye patch to sew on to their darts shirt. I'm guessing they probably then marketed the  bendy Bully in the shops, due to the popularity of the show, and then decided to give one of those away as a prize instead of the sew-on-patch. A final thought is why don't they bring back what is undoubtedly the best game show in tv history?

Out of the black and into the red, there's no prizes for three in a bed...... or something.

How come, when the finalists lost the 'big' prize, Jim would rub their noses in it and say 'let's ave a look what you could've won' and revealed car. (a Fiesta or something, admittedly, but a car nontheless.)

Whenever the finalists won, it always seemd to be a speedboat - and they usually lived in Birmingham or Derby.

Wasn't it comical though when Jim said something like "Take it back, lads" then about four men dragged the speedboat/caravan/whatever behind the screen?! The disappointment on their faces!

Oh, and there was always a girl dart-player who looked like a bloke!
