very wide lines of text...?

can anyone help me please on this one?
when i go into my face book whatsit, the typed text that people post up no longer fits nicely onto my laptop screen so i can comfortably read it,
its stretching on and on forever! and i have to use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page, to run along to the end to read it all..
ive got a wide screen laptop on vista.
things seem to be looking ok elsewhere on tinternet, its just when i go into facebook.

There is a little house and envelope and a printer and then `Page`

its been playing up for a few days now,
but ... ive just restarted the laptop and it seems all ok now...
strange!
